New York Journal of Student Affairs

The New York Journal of Student Affairs: The Journal of the College Student Personnel Association of New York State publishes peer reviewed and open source scholarship that addresses contemporary issues relevant to higher education and the practice of student affairs professionals. The journal is hosted by Canisius College and provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Content: The New York Journal of Student Affairs accepts all forms of scholarship recognized in the 6th edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association: original empirical research, literature reviews, theoretical articles, methodological articles, and case studies.  Thoughtful essays and historical overviews are also accepted. Regardless of the format, manuscripts should address the practical application to contemporary student affairs practice.

Submissions for the Journal: Submissions are now being accepted for all future issues. A full list of author/manuscript guidelines and submission instructions can be found here.

Publishing & Subscription: This journal will be published electronically twice a year in November and April. There are no subscription fees. To receive notice of publication, please REGISTER and subscribe as a reader of the journal. Notifications will be sent via email to the contact email you provide in your profile.
